Frequently Asked Questions
How do you make your mandalas?
All mandalas are hand drawn with high quality materials.
How do you make your prints?
All prints are made from professionally taken high resolution photographs. Photo software adjustments are minimal , and only used to optimize printing output.
What do you mean by sweatshop free?
HToL outsources printing of items to a small cut and sowing shop in Montreal Canada that pays fair wages and paid breaks. Our little shop handles everything from the printing, sewing and quality control in house. Not only that, but their Eco-Poly knit fabric is milled in Montreal as well, and not imported from overseas. A few of our items (carryalls) are made in a small shop in the UK, by talented craftsmen and craftswomen.
What is an eco-poly fabric?
All our stretch fabrics feature an EcoPoly fiber. This eco-friendly fiber requires significantly less energy and water use during manufacturing. ECO-POLY uses 70% less water, 70% less heat, 70% less energy.
What is on demand production?
That means when you order an item, your chosen mandala is printed onto fabrics, then cut and sown for you. Each order is handled individually by hand by a production team and is checked along the way for quality printing and sewing. ON DEMAND PRODUCTION REDUCES WASTE AND POLLUTION.
